Where are NavTool products made?

All NavTool products are made in the USA.

What advantage do I get buying NavTool products instead of competitors' products?

NavTool products are made in the USA. Quality of products guarantees it long life without failure. 1 year no-questions asked warranty.

I have Installed NavTool product but it doesn't work?

All NavTool products undergo full functionality control before it's packaged, usually products becomes defective during installation due to improper handling or not following installation manual directions. Please contact us for troubleshooting. In many cases we are able to solve problems over the phone.

Can I install this product myself?

The installation of our products generally kept simple, but for quality results we recommend using help of a professional installer to install our interface. If you do choose to go ahead and install our product yourself, study the INSTALLATION MANUAL, and note: that you're performing installation AT YOUR OWN RISK.


Is it hard to install NavTool interface?

We are always paying close attention to simplifying the installation of NavTool Products. Most of the interfaces are plug-and-play, and can be installed fast as well as uninstalled easily. However we do recommend the professional installer to perform Installation. Remember if product installed incorrectly it can damage the product beyond the warranty coverage as well as the vehicles electronics.

Will installing NavTool interface effect my vehicles warranty?

No. In most cases it will have no effect on your vehicles warranty or lease conditions. Most of the products can be easily uninstalled without effecting vehicles electronics. Some of the vehicles designs require minimal rewiring (wire cutting), but in this case we made a point that the parts that are modified cost little and can be easily replaced. However you must make sure that the NavTool Product is installed properly and preferably by a professional installer. If done incorrectly, installation of NavTool product as well as any other addition to the vehicle electronics can cause damage which is not covered by warranty as well as damage the product itself.


Why installing our interface does not affect vehicle warranty?
Vehicle owners are often confused regarding the effect installation and service of third party accessories has on warranty. This confusion often is the result of intentionally misleading information intended to convince you that only the manufacturer or authorized dealer should service your vehicle. This practice is also known as "Tie-In Sales" Provisions. Legally tie-in sales provisions are not allowed.

Can NavTool unit be used on several different?

Yes. The 2.0 generation units and later can be used for several vehicles with the software updated over the internet. For instructions on how to perform online updates, please visit updates page.

Can I get the additional features for the unit after the purchase?

Yes. You can purchase additional features for the NavTool Products after it's purchased, and install them from the internet via NavTool software Updater. This can be done only with 2.0 generation products and later. For instructions on installing additional features to your NavTool Products please visit updates page.

How do I return a NavTool product?

NavTool accepts returns. Items must be returned within 14 days from date of purchase. Refunds will be given as money back or credit. The buyer pays for return shipping.

NavTool return policy:

All products that NavTool sell are 100% compatible with your vehicle, if for any reason you decide to return your product, you can return it within 14 days of purchase, no returns will be accepted after 14 days. All returns must be made in original packaging and never installed in a vehicle. If you want to return a product that was installed in a vehicle in 14 days period 25% fee will be charged.
I bought a NavTool product. Can I send it back for refund?

You can send it back within 14 days of purchase only in case all seals on packaging are not broken.

Do I need RMA number for return or exchange?

Yes you need to get an RMA number from us before sending in product for exchange, return or repair. Products without RMA number will not be processed. Click here to initiate RMA process.
Can I return a product if the package is open?

Yes you can, but you will be charged 25% RESTOCKING FEE. We however support the no-questions-asked 1 YEAR EXCHANGE WARRANTY.
