Connecting Video Sources to Navigation Screen |

NavRGB 2.0 is a new generation of navigation video interfaces that add video capabilities to HONDA / ACURA vehicles with factory installed navigation system, or with color information screen. NavRGB 2.0 does not replace or add a factory navigation system; it creates additional video inputs for the factory installed navigation system or color information screen. |

NavRGB 2.0 + HA20 are 100% plug and play - no wire cutting required. NavTool plug and play installation harnesses are made using OEM HONDA / ACURA connectors. NavRGB 2.0 is an externally wired plug and play video interface that is installed in-line with the navigation computer and navigation screen. It works simply by interrupting the video signal from the navigation computer when it is activated, or when +12V are applied on the reverse camera wire. When this occur the navigation system video image will be replaced by the video source connected to NavRGB 2.0 video interface. NavRGB 2.0 is a video-only input interface and does not have any audio inputs. If the vehicle does not have a factory installed AUX audio jack, then an auxiliary audio input adapter or an audio FM modulator is needed to connect audio signals from an external Audio/Video source to the factory audio system. NavRGB 2.0 is video-in-motion enabled for off-road use, so the video image will stay on the screen even while the vehicle is in motion, however we do not recommend doing this. Factory navigation DVD-ROM cannot play DVD movies, external video source is needed to display video on the factory navigation screen. Examples of video sources: DVD player, Game Console, Digital Media Player, HDD, iPhone, iPad, iPod Video (NavRGB 2.0 does not support iPod Controls or iPod audio). |

Vehicle Specific Installation Information: |

| |
NavRGB 2.0+HA20 SHOULD BE CONNECTED AT THE NAVIGATION COMPUTER AND NOT BEHIND THE SCREEN. |
| |
| |
Simply unplug factory connector from back of the navigation computer, plug in male connector of supplied HA20 plug and play harness into navigation computer, and plug in factory connector into female connector of supplied HA20 plug and play harness, then connect 12V accessory power, ground, and back-up camera wire (if installing aftermarket back-up camera). The installation is really that simple. NavRGB 2.0+HA20 is plug and play video interface and only requires extra wiring for +12V accessory power input and chassis ground connection, this connections will not void vehicles factory warranty in most cases.

Why installing NavTool interface has no effect on vehicle warranty? Vehicles owners are often confused about effect on their warranty if aftermarket parts installed on their brand new vehicles. This confusion often is the result of intentionally misleading information intended to convince you that only the manufacturer or authorized dealer should service your vehicle. This practice is also known as "Tie-In Sales" Provisions. Legally tie-in sales provisions are not allowed. These provisions require an owner of the warranted product to buy an item or service from a particular company to use with the warranted product in order to be eligible to receive a remedy under the warranty. For example, in order to keep your new vehicles warranty in effect, you must use genuine parts. Failure to have scheduled maintenance performed, at your expense, by the dealership voids this warranty. Click here for more information.
